World of Warships aiming: armor, angles and citadel study
A useful aiming recommendation depends on the firing ship, target hull, ammunition, range and viewing angle. Clan Battle Pro lets you inspect these together so you can understand the recommendation, not just copy an aim point.
How do I use the ship damage trainer?
Choose the target and your firing ship, then select ammunition and range. Start in the port view to identify the ship. Open armor layers, citadel or full-penetration study when you want to inspect the relevant regions. Rotate the view and read the updated assessment alongside the model.
What does a green target mean?
Green marks a preferred target according to the current study estimate. It is not a guaranteed citadel, penetration or damage result. Read the explanation for the selected matchup, and revisit it when the angle, range or ammunition changes.
Should I always aim at the citadel?
No. Use the current armor and shell assessment to compare a citadel attempt with a regular damage shot. The trainer does not give destroyers a citadel target. If geometry or penetration data is unresolved, it should not be treated as a supported citadel recommendation.
How closely does the trainer reproduce the game?
The trainer uses installed hull geometry and base statistics, with estimated armor and ammunition behavior. It does not fully reproduce dispersion, saturation, commander skills, equipment or every layered-armor interaction. Read the supported scope for the limitations before relying on a result.
